Haddenham Lawn Care began with a simple idea — to help homeowners get more use and enjoyment from their gardens by transforming tired lawns into outdoor spaces they can really enjoy, while also improving kerb appeal and adding value to their homes.
I’m Pete, founder of Haddenham Lawn Care. After many years working as a Finance Director for a well-known hospitality business, I decided to step away from corporate life and build something more hands-on, personal and rewarding.
I’ve always had three real passions: flying, motorsport and my own lawn at home. All three became escapes from the pressure of corporate finance, and all three require care, attention to detail, a commitment to doing things properly and a little patience.
These days, while I’m lucky enough to spend some of my time around vintage aircraft and fast cars, most of my week is devoted to helping homeowners improve their lawns and make more of their gardens.
Haddenham Lawn Care is built around honest advice, exceptional service and a genuine pride in achieving the best possible result. Whether your lawn needs regular care, seasonal treatments or a full renovation, my aim is to help you create a healthier, better-looking lawn you can really enjoy.
Why I started Haddenham Lawn Care
Several friends were frustrated with lawns that looked tired, patchy and full of weeds and moss — but didn’t really know where to start, or who to trust. I understood that frustration myself. For years, I wanted a better lawn at home, but I also knew how disappointing it could be when the advice, service or results from a lawn care company didn’t quite live up to expectations.
That experience was one of the reasons I started Haddenham Lawn Care: to offer a better, more personal service built around honest advice, high-quality products, clear communication and a genuine pride in achieving the best possible result.
A better lawn is about far more than green grass or Wimbledon stripes. It’s about turning a space you already own into one you truly use and enjoy, while adding value to your home.

Our approach
Every project is different which is why we start with a proper survey. We look at your lawn’s condition, talk through what you want to achieve, and then provide a clear written recommendation with simple pricing — there’s no pressure to proceed.
We believe in improving lawns from the ground up, using a largely organic approach focused on soil and grass plant health, which in turn delivers a long-term improvement in your lawn rather than short-term cosmetic fixes.
Our plans have been developed with input from Richard Salmon, founder of the original UK Lawn Care Network and Honorary President of the UK Lawn Care Association and we’ve invested significantly in some of the best equipment on the market so we can deliver quality results consistently and efficiently, while keeping disruption at your home to a minimum.
